Photo of the Week: Ahhh...

Rosa 'Carefree Beauty'
See those water drops? They're raindrops. Yes, it has begun to rain again, at long last. One storm this week dropped over an inch of much needed rain. Unfortunately, it's nowhere near enough to break the drought, but it is a step in the right direction.

Glad you (and others) are finally getting some rain. Much needed relief.

Amazing how wonderful a shot of rain makes the gardener feel. I can just imagine how the plants feel.

We've had a couple of blasts of rain and thunderstorms lately too! My garden appreciated it as did yours. Even a lot of rain in a short time is better than no rain at all.
The colour of the rose is incredible! Thx for posting!!

Great to see that you are finally receiving a bit of rain, MMD. We've been getting some here too, which gave me the chance to plant out a half a flat of 'Heart of Gold' columbine seedlings, grown from the seed you sent to me. I shared the other half of the flat with a friend, so your seed strain is now growing in two Pennsylvania gardens, and we're very much looking forward to seeing them bloom next spring. Thanks so much!
