A Christmas Card from Me

As a gift to you, here's video of some of my Christmas ornaments.
video

I don't have many garden-related ornaments. Excluding the pear in the video and an apple, here they are.

Update: by request, here's the set of gardening tools that just arrived yesterday. (I was inspired by Carol's ornaments.)

And Christmas wouldn't be complete without a slice of my mom's fruitcake.

I wish you peace and joy for the New Year!

Those garden tools are great! I wish I hadn't seen that fruitcake, though, now I'm hungry!

Could I have the recipe for that fruitcake?

And a very Happy Christmas to you too.
That cake looks suitably heavy: I like the idea of the care involved in carving glace cherries into star shapes.

I couldn't get your video to work. :( I love your new gardening tool ornaments. I didn't know people actually ate fruit cake. I thought it was a joke. This looks good. I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas to you, too, MMD! Those gardening tools are too cute... but what I really love is that silver tree. Mercury glass?

Cindy - sorry. It is really good fruitcake.

Kathy - I'll ask my mom, when she has a moment. That might be a while.

James - that's my mom; tons of things to do, but everything needs to be done just right. Presentation of food is so important.

Lisa - that's weird about the video. It worked for me.

Thanks, Darla!

Gail - that's Professor Santa to you.

Blackswamp Girl - I don't know what the tree is. It's in a snowglobe.

Thanks, Anna. I hope you have lots of goodies and a wonderful Christmas.

ROR - thanks!

MMD, what treasures you have on your tree. I love the angels-our tree is almost entirely angels. Those gardening tools are so cute! And I think one other ornament could be added to your 'gardening' ones. The rabbit...just for Carol!!

Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year to you and yours!

I love all the angels on your tree, MMD. They're my favorites, too; no hoes or green beans decorating the trees here, I'm afraid.

Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas!

Happy Christmas wishes to you, too, MMD. The video didn't work for me but my day is brightened by your pretty ornaments. I don't have any gardening related ornaments... just traditional pretties for my tree. I do love using fresh fruits in glass containers though. May all your gardening dreams come true next season.

You have some lovely christmas decorations there. I see on your profile you like the Proclaimers - I live not too far away from their home town. Happy Christmas from Scotland.

How did I miss this post? Must have gotten stuck under some wrapping paper or something. Anyway, I really like your new garden tool ornaments. Those are nice and shiny!
